Chapter 9 Summary
Although I never knew the proper name for online retail, I have indulged in it many times in my life. Most of my experience of online shopping has been good with a few exceptions. Once I had thought I was buying a cheap office chair, but what I ended up getting was just the wheels to one. What I failed to do was look in the description of the product and only looked at the pictures. Now I know that some things are too good to be true. Like a $10 dollar chair.
I have many subscriptions. Although now that the prices keep getting higher, I have been cancelling some of them. While streaming services have their benefits, they keep getting lower with raised prices. One way I found interesting that some people do is illegal streaming sites. While I personally never went to one, I have heard they are much more convenient and easier to find what you want to watch.
One year, I got a new card, and it had something new to it, called tap to pay. I have found it to be very convenient and safer to use. I never knew it was called nfc. What an amazing technological feat this is for humanity.
